- No animals other than dogs or cats are allowed in KLM.
- If you're flying in a KLM flight, you have to bring your pet on the same flight. No pet will fly alone without the owner or trainer.
- If your destination country only allows transportation of pets as cargo, KLM cannot transport them on hold or in the cabin.
- All pets must follow the given dimensions and weight to qualify for transport by KLM.
Flight Change Policy
The flight change policy of KLM Airlines is as follows:
- If you’ve already checked in to your original flight and you want a flight change then you need to cancel your check-in first.
- If you’ve booked any extras in your original flight, like seats or meals. The airline will automatically book the same for your new flight but you’ve to pay if the prices are high on your new flight and if it's low, then the airline will give a voucher for the remaining amount.

Standard Ticket holders may have to pay EUR 250 to change flights and Flexi Ticket holders can change flights for free.
Business Class
- Light ticket holders can change flights for EUR 300. However, Standard and Flexi Ticket holders can change flights free of cost.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- The cancellation policies of KLM Airlines are extremely transparent. You can cancel your flight ticket and request a refund.
- If you want to avail of a refund with the airline, you must request for the same and the airline will check whether you’re eligible for a full refund or only a part of your unused trip.
- The airline processes your refund request within 2-4 weeks.
