• The total weight of your hand baggage must not exceed 12 kg.

Premium Comfort Class

• You can carry two hand baggage of dimensions 55*35*25 cm including wheels and handles.

Meals in Economy Class

• For short flights, they serve snacks and drinks with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
• For Intercontinental Flights, they serve a water bottle, warm dish of your choice, salad, and dessert. They also serve beverages, like tea or coffee. For flights more than 10 hours, they serve snacks in between meals.

Child Policy

The child policy of KLM is as follows:

• In KLM, 1 adult can travel with around 12 children under 15 years old.
• Up to 12 years, there is a reduced ticket price for your kids on most routes in KLM.

The Pet Policy of KLM Airlines is as follows:

• The airline allows only cats and dogs in their aircraft.
• Every pet flying with KLM must be 15 weeks older and you have to make a reservation at least 48 hours prior to the travel date.

Pets in the Cabin

• If you're traveling within Europe, you’re allowed to get 1 pet in the Economy or Business class within a kennel size of 46*28*24 cm and the total weight shouldn't exceed 8 kg.
• If you're traveling on an Intercontinental route, you cannot carry pets in Premium Comfort and Business Class.

Pets in the Hold

• You can carry up to 3 pets in the hold up to 14 kg each, it could be 2 adult animals or 3 pets up to 6 months ideally from the same litter.
• The total weight of your pets and kennels shouldn't exceed 75 kg. The size of the kennel on KLM flights can be up to 122*81*89 cm and on KLM Cityhopper Flights can be up to 102*69*76 cm.

Restrictions for pets

• No animals other than dogs or cats are allowed in KLM.
• If you're flying in a KLM flight, you have to bring your pet on the same flight. No pet will fly alone without the owner or trainer.
• If your destination country only allows transportation of pets as cargo, KLM cannot transport them on hold or in the cabin.
• All pets must follow the given dimensions and weight to qualify for transport by KLM.

Flight Change Policy

The flight change policy of KLM Airlines is as follows:

• If you’ve already checked in to your original flight and you want a flight change then you need to cancel your check-in first.
• If you’ve booked any extras in your original flight, like seats or meals. The airline will automatically book the same for your new flight but you’ve to pay if the prices are high on your new flight and if it's low, then the airline will give a voucher for the remaining amount.
• The flight change charges depend on your travel route, travel class, and ticket type.
• If the new flight prices are higher, you’ve to pay the difference and if it's lower, you’ll receive a voucher for the remaining amount.

Traveling within Europe

Economy Class:

• You cannot change your flight with light ticket
• With a Standard Ticket you can pay EUR 70 and change your flight.
• On a Flexi ticket you can change your flight free of cost.

Business Class:

• For a Standard Ticket, you can pay EUR 70 and change your flight.
• Flexi Ticket passengers can change flights without any extra cost.

Intercontinental Travel

Economy Class

• With a fee of EUR 200, you can change your flight if you have a Light or Standard Ticket.
• You can change flights without extra cost, if you travel with a flexi ticket.

Premium Comfort Class

Standard Ticket holders may have to pay EUR 250 to change flights and Flexi Ticket holders can change flights for free.

Business Class

• Light ticket holders can change flights for EUR 300. However, Standard and Flexi Ticket holders can change flights free of cost.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• The cancellation policies of KLM Airlines are extremely transparent. You can cancel your flight ticket and request a refund.
• If you want to avail of a refund with the airline, you must request for the same and the airline will check whether you’re eligible for a full refund or only a part of your unused trip.
• The airline processes your refund request within 2-4 weeks.
• The airline will not refund booking fee, surcharge fees, and reissue fees.
• Light and Standard tickets on KLM are non-refundable. You can request for a refund for your Flexi ticket with or without a fee.
