  • You can carry domesticated dogs and cats on all domestic flights which includes Puerto Rico and St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.
  • You can also carry small household birds and domesticated rabbits except to / from Puerto Rico and the U.S.V.I.
  • The airline does not consider farm poultry, waterfowl, game birds, birds of prey, and flightless birds as household birds.
  • In all domestic flights of Spirit Airlines, they allow only 6 pet containers overall, so make sure to make your pet reservation on time.
  • The airline charges $125 per pet container one way, however, there is a limitation of carrying only 6 pets in cabins.

  • However, if you make changes to your flights 60 days or before, it will be free of cost.
  • If you're changing or canceling your ticket 0-6 days before departure, your fees are $119.
  • You have to pay $99 as flight change or cancellation fees if you're doing it 7-30 before your scheduled departure.

If you're under this program, all the cancellations must be done online on the Spirit Airlines website 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
